It is easy provided that you have the b/c plugin enabled before the update. “Most” extensions that work on J4 will work on J5 with it enabled. I haven’t heard of any that don’t, but make sure you take a backup before updating.Having been through the J4 upgrade, I thought J5 was supposed to be easy. It doesn't sound like that's the case.
You can then work out those extensions that need the b/c plugin at your leisure. That’s where I am at the moment.
